You need an application template to create an application in Intrexx.
INTREXX provides you with a range of application templates.
You can find these application templates in the dialog "Applications" ("File > New application").
Integrated application templates
The applications "Empty application" and "Basic application" are included with Intrexx and are available under "New application". After you select one of the two application templates, the application will be created and opened in the Applications module.

Online application templates
In addition to the integrated application templates "Empty application" and "Basic application", a number of application templates are available online.
The online application templates are stored on a INTREXX server. They can be accessed directly in Intrexx in the "Applications" dialog via the "Templates" menu item. This requires a connection to the Internet. The online application templates are continuously updated by INTREXX - even outside of the usual Intrexx release cycles. New application templates are developed and made available in Intrexx.
You do not need to update Intrexx if you want to use updated application templates.
If you select one of the online application templates in the "Applications" dialog, it will first be imported into your Intrexx instance. It can then be opened in the Applications module and used in the same way as the built-in application templates.

Create and provide custom online application templates
You can create your own application templates and make them available online. These templates are also available in Intrexx in the "Applications" dialog. They can be selected via the "Repository" selection list.
Like the application templates provided by INTREXX, these are also imported first. It can then be opened in the Applications module and used in the same way as the built-in application templates.
