Style guide

Intended use

The "Style Guide" application template has a different purpose than the other application templates. It does not serve as a template for an app for portal users. Rather, it is intended to enable web authors (application developers) to get an overview of the Intrexx application elements and their appearance in the portal (browser). The application elements have the initial styles or CSS classes pre-assigned to them. You can make changes to the styles in the "Style Guide" application template and check whether their effects meet your expectations. This application template is therefore both a reference work (with links to suitable sections in the online help) and a practical test and experimentation area for all aspects of application elements. Once all the desired settings and changes meet your requirements or CI specifications, the "Style Guide" application template can also be used as a reference for company-wide application development.

Please note that although all application elements are listed in the "Style Guide" application template, it is not possible to map the functionality of all of them. This applies, for example, to the "Filewalker" element, which requires a customer-specific setting. However, you can integrate such elements into the style guide yourself if required.

Dummy data

Dummy data is supplied with the "Style Guide" application template. This can be found on the "Administration" page. With the corresponding permission or role ("App_Styleguide_Manager"), you can adapt the dummy data.

Permissions

In the "App_Styleguide_User" role, you can see the application and the overview with all application elements.

In the "App_Styleguide_Manager" role, you can edit the dummy data on the "Administration" page.

As in the other apps, there are two roles for the app: App_Styleguide_Manager, which can edit the dummy data on the administration page, and the second role of App_Styleguide_User, which can see the application and the overview with all controls.
