Integrate Lotus Notes data into applications

You can integrate Lotus Notes data into an application by adding an external data group.

Step-by-step guide

To integrate a Lotus Notes data source into an application, please proceed as follows:

1. Open the application that you would like to use the Lotus Notes data source in.
2. Right-click on the application name.
3. Click on "New" > "External data group".
   
   
   
   
   
   The "Properties - External data group" dialog will open.
4. Select the desired Lotus Notes database connection in the "Database connection" drop-down list.
   
   
   
5. Click on the symbol.
   The "Form selection" dialog will open.
6. Search for the desired form.
   
   
   
7. Select the corresponding form.
8. Click on "OK".
   You will return to the "Properties - External data group" dialog.
9. Go to the "Data fields" tab.
   
   
   
10. Click on the symbol.
    The "Select data field" dialog will open.
    
    
    
11. Select the data fields that you would like to integrate into your external data group.
12. Click on "OK".
    You will return to the "Properties - External data group" dialog.
    
    
    
13. Click on "OK".
    You will return to the application in the Applications module.
    You have integrated a Lotus Notes data source into an application.
