Buttons can be displayed in the browser as a button, text link or image.
Button
The button will be displayed as a button in the browser.
Text
The button will be displayed as a text link in the browser.
Image
An image of your choice will be used as a button in the browser. When you
select this option, the "Text" entry on the left will change to "Image".
1.1. Button - Text
Here, the "Button" option was selected as the button type
in the first step. If you then select "Text" on the left, you can then define
the text for the button in this dialog.
Static text
A static text can be defined with this option.
Title
Enter the static text here.

Adjust height / width on button text
Here, the size of the button will automatically adjust to the size of the text.
Title from data field
The dialog's appearance will change when you select this option. In the
application structure shown beneath this option, you can select a data field
whose value should be used as the title of the button.
Show text if access permissions are insufficient
If this setting is activated and the user does not have the corresponding
page or data group permissions,
a notification will appear to inform them of this.
Show "empty" when value does not exist
With this setting, the word "empty" will be shown if there is no value.
1.2. Text - Text
Here, the "Text" option was selected as the button type
in the first step. If you then select "Text" on the left, you can then define
the text for the text link in this dialog. The settings correspond to those of
the button option. The options
"Adjust width / height to text" are not available as the text link does not
have a surrounding button.
Wordwrap
The button type "Text" has this additional option.

1.3. Image - Image
An image can be selected here for the "Image" button type.
When the user clicks on the image in the browser, the
button action
is triggered.
Static image
With this option, a static image with or without an option for MouseOver can be used.
With the arrow buttons the selected image in
"Image /Image on MouseOver" can be copied to the other field.
Edit text alternative
Opens a dialog
where the text, which should be displayed as an alternative for the image
on devices that cannot display images, can be entered.
If you click on "OK" here, the button will
be created. The size of an image will then be adjusted to the size
of the button on the workspace. With the
"Set original size" from the
context menu, you can
show the image in its original size on the workspace.
Image from data field
Default image
The image selected here is shown when the linked data field does not
deliver a value.

Apply correct orientation for rotated images
Images from digital cameras always have the same aspect ratio. If a
photo is taken upright, the subject will later be shown in a horizontal
position in the image. In general, cameras have a position sensor.
Instead of rotating the image correspondingly, they will write the
positioning information to the image. With the "Apply correct
orientation for rotated images" setting, the positioning information
will be evaluated by Intrexx and the image will then be rotated as necessary.
Maximum size: Width / Height
The image size is limited to the pixel value entered here.
Crop image
Allows the width and height of the image to be adjusted to
the aspect ratio of the button.
Scale up smaller images
Smaller images will be enlarged up to the stated maximum size.
Optimize file size for thumbnails (reduce)
The file size is reduced, with the goal of speeding up the
loading time of the application page.
Adjust control size to maximum size
If the size of the button is changed on the workspace, the current
width and height are automatically written in the general
properties. If this setting is not activated, these values and the
size of the control will not be synchronized on the workspace.

If the user clicks on the button in the browser, a dialog will open where the export
formats can be selected.
Table
Here, all view tables and
free layout tables can be selected that are located on the current
page and show data from the same data group. Upon export, the data
records for the selected table will be exported. For the research
element, only the results table of the research can be selected; the
selection of other tables on the page is not possible here.

In this column, you can define which export option should be preselected
in the browser popup.
Add template
The additional context menu
items "List, separated by separator" and
"User-defined template" are available.
Edit template
Opens the dialog for editing the template.
Remove template
The currently selected template is removed from the list.
Move template up / down
Modify the order of the templates.
Display title
Here, you can decide whether the titles of the fields should be added to
the export file as the first row.
Never
The titles will not be exported.
Never as default
In the export popup, the user has the option of activating the
export of the titles.
Always
The titles will be included in the export file.
Always as default
The setting "Add field titles as first line"
is already activated in the browser.
Remove HTML
HTML formatting will
be removed from the text. The options "Never", "Never as
default", "Always", and "Always as default" are also
available here.
Only export currently displayed data
Predefines, whether all data records, or only the data records
shown in the table will be exported.

Filename without extension, e.g. export, addresses, ...
A name can be predefined for the export file. Do
not write a file extension here, as this will be added automatically to
the file based on the export format.
