Operation
View menu
In the
Integration module ,
the main menu between the File and View menu changes depending on which entry
is selected on the left-hand side of the module. The following will provide
a description for each respective entry.
1. File storage locations
New file storage location
Opens a
dialog
where a new file storage location can be created and configured.
Edit
Opens a
dialog
where the currently selected file storage location can be edited.
Delete
The configuration of a file storage location will be deleted.
Default file storage locations cannot be deleted.
Display applications
Opens a
dialog
where all applications, where the file storage location is used, are displayed.
2. Data transfer
New connection
Opens a
dialog
where a new configuration for a data transfer connection can be created.
Edit
Opens a
dialog
where the currently selected configuration can be edited.
Start
The selected data transfer is carried out.
Stop
The current procedure of the selected data transfer will be halted.
Last messages
Opens a dialog
where the start and end of the last procedure, plus any errors that may have occurred,
are shown.
History
Opens a
dialog
that lists the last executions of the selected data transfer.
Import / Export
Opens a dialog
where the selected data transfer's configuration can be exported and imported.
Copy
Here, the selected data transfer's configuration can be copied.
Paste
Here, the selected data transfer's configuration can be pasted from the clipboard.
Delete
Deletes the connection.
3. FileWalker
Add
Opens a
dialog
where a new FileWalker connection can be set up.
Edit
Opens a
dialog
where the currently selected FileWalker connection can be edited.
Delete
The currently selected connection is removed.
Show applications
Opens a
dialog
where all applications, which have a FileWalker connection, are displayed.
Refresh
Refreshes the view of the FileWalker connections, if for example
you have created a new FileWalker connection in an
application
but it is not shown here yet.
4. Collaboration
4.1 Office integration
Properties
Opens a
dialog
that informs you about the integration's Name, Status, Application name, Application
GUID , Edit page name and Edit page GUID.
Refresh
Refreshes the view of the Office integtations, if, for example, you have created a new integration in an
application
and it is not displayed here yet.
4.2 Intrexx Share
Open application
Opens the application where the plugin is defined.
4.3 Pinboard
Open application
Opens the application where the pinboard is defined.
4.4 Documents
Open application
Opens the application where the selected template is defined.
Configuration
Opens a
dialog
where the settings for the document generation can be edited.
5. Consume data
New
Opens a submenu where you can select the type of data source you would like
to create.
Edit
Opens the corresponding dialog for configuring the data source which is
currently selected on the right-hand side.
Remove
Deletes the data source which is
currently selected on the right-hand side.
Refresh
Refreshes the list of data sources on the right-hand side.
5.1 JDBC data source
New
Opens a
wizard
for configuring the JDBC data source.
Edit
Opens a
dialog
where properties of the selected data source can be edited.
Remove
Deletes the currently selected JDBC data source.
DBMS properties
Opens a
dialog
where the DBMS properties of the currently selected connection are shown.
5.2 Connector for SAP Business Suite
Add instance
Opens a
wizard
for configuring the new instance.
Edit
Opens a
dialog
where the properties of the instance can be edited.
Delete
Deletes the instance's configuration.
5.3 Connector for SAP Business One
New data source
Opens a
wizard
for configuring the new data source.
Edit
Opens a
dialog
where the properties of the data source can be edited.
Delete
Deletes the data source's configuration.
5.4 Connector for IBM Lotus Notes
New data source
Opens a
wizard
for configuring the new data source.

5.5 Connector for Microsoft Exchange

If MediaGateway has been newly installed, this function will re-insert the
configuration data and user accounts to the MediaGateway database.

5.14 Web service
New web service

Refresh registration
Refreshes the registration of the web service.
Refresh registration (with authentication)
Refreshes the registration of the web service. Here, a
dialog
will open where the username and password can be entered.
Copy URL
Copies the web service's URL to the clipboard.
Delete
Deletes the registration of the web service.
Export web services
Opens the
Export dialog for the webservice.
Refresh
The list of connections is refreshed.
6. Provide data
New provider
Opens a submenu where you can select the type of service you would like
to create.
Edit
Opens the corresponding dialog for configuring the service which is
currently selected on the right-hand side.
Remove
Deletes the service which is
currently selected on the right-hand side.
Refresh
Refreshes the list of services on the right-hand side.
6.1 Connector for OData
New service
Opens a
wizard
for configuring the new service.
Edit
Opens a
dialog
where the properties of the service can be edited.
Remove
Deletes the configuration of the service.
Copy
Creates a copy of the currently selected service.
Settings
Opens a
dialog
where the OData provider can be edited.
Refresh
The list of services is refreshed.
Show metadata
Shows the service's metadata.
6.2 Web service
New web service
Opens a
wizard
for configuring the new service.
Edit
Opens a
dialog
where the properties of the service can be edited.
Delete
Deletes the configuration of the service.
Activate
The web service is made available for accessing the data.
Deactivate
Turns the web service off.
Show WSDL
Shows the web service description in the browser.
Consume web service
If the web service should be used in the same portal, it can be
registered
automatically with this menu item.
Settings
Opens a
dialog
where the web service provider can be edited.
Refresh
The list of services is refreshed.
6.3. Operation
If an existing web service or web service operation is selected, then this
menu will be shown. It provides the following functions:
New operation
Opens a
dialog
where a new operation can be created. This menu is available when an existing
web service is selected.
Edit
Opens a
dialog
where the currently selected operation can bed edited.
Delete
Deletes the currently selected operation.
7. View menu
Show modules
Shows or hides the left-hand area where the individual integration selection types can be selected.
